Management of Classroom Displays: Remotely Perform Updates, Announcements and Diagnostics.
As technology has grown in the modern classroom, the resources needed to manage and maintain this technology has also expanded.  To assist education tech staffs with this need, a new generation of software has evolved – Mobile Device Management (MDM).     Several MDM’s have been embraced by interactive panel manufacturers and enhanced to be much more than a remote diagnostic tool.   In this session, we will explore the features, benefits and implementation of one of the leading MDM programs called Command, supplied by Clear Touch for use on their interactive display panels.   Using Command enables easy and organized rollouts of their displays, software updates can be pushed remotely, usage stats can be monitored, direct communication to the display is possible along with Livestreaming of standard or emergency announcements.   Command greatly reduces the need for on-site tech visits to the classroom, enhanced information and feature rollouts, yet speeds up response time and ultimately saves money.   The great part - - its FREE!

Keynote: "Defending Cybersecurity’s Top Targets" Trent Frazier
As technology evolves, one thing remains clear: cyber attacks aren’t going anywhere, including within K-12. Between bad actors stealing online data and schools shutting down for extended periods due to ransomware attacks, the impact is significant. The reliance on virtual learning during COVID and the sheer number of online programs that teachers utilize for lessons have all made for a very vulnerable cyber environment. Please join Trent Frazier, Deputy Assistant Director for Stakeholder Engagement at CISA, as he discusses the cyber risks threatening K-12, how schools and families can best prepare, and how CISA is here to help.
